First designed in 1944, the original Constellation Bracelet was owned by Minnie Astor. The modern Constellation Bracelet is made with seven customizable panels depicting zodiac signs in diamonds and gold. Today, the collection has been expanded and continues to be made based upon the original archives.
Twelve recently discovered archival postcards Fulco di Verdura purchased at the American Museum of Natural History depicting zodiacal illustrations from the Hayden Planetarium inspired Verdura to create dozens of celestial designs throughout his career. Verdura referenced the postcards often over the years, using them as road maps to set diamonds as stars and engrave constellations in gold.
