A TALE OF TWO ARTISTS

In 1941 Duke Fulco di Verdura collaborated with Surrealist artist Salvador Dali. The two artists shared a passion for mythology and the renaissance. The Medusa ring's design draws from elements of the original five jewels they created together. The original five jewels, many of which are now in private collections, made their debut over seventy-five years ago at The Museum of Modern Art as part of a Dali/Miro exhibition.
